Dearborn Park School Leader Update

Dearborn Park School Leader Update

Dear Dearborn Park families and staff,

I am pleased to announce Don Noble has been selected as the acting principal of Dearborn Park International Elementary for the 2024 -25 school year. Principal Noble’s service will begin Aug. 1.

Principal Noble has been a part of Seattle Public Schools for 12 years, including serving as the assistant principal for Dearborn Park for the past two years.

He has served in many capacities over the years – as a teacher, a head teacher and as an assistant principal. He spent his first nine years at West Seattle Elementary where he taught 3rd and 4th grade and served as the head teacher of instruction. This wide range of experience has helped him develop leadership skills focused on providing students with a safe and welcoming environment through high-quality instruction.

SPS will begin the search for a permanent Dearborn Park principal later this school year. At that time, SPS will share next steps with the community. Read more about the SPS school leader hiring process on our website. Until then, I know Principal Noble’s dedication to collaborative problem solving and data expertise will continue to support and guide Dearborn Park Elementary.

I want to thank Principal Conte for her leadership and service to the Dearborn Park community.

Please join me in welcoming Principal Noble!

Sincerely,

Dr. Brent Jones
Superintendent
