Health Center

Our Full Service Health Clinic

In addition to the school nurse, Dearborn Park has a School-Based Health Center (SBHC) that provides medical and mental health care for the students of Dearborn Park Elementary School . We help students thrive in school by working to address physical and mental health problems, prevent serious illness, and promote healthy lifestyles. Our goal is to provide quality care that is accessible and convenient for students and their families.

Services offered at the School-Based Health Center include:

  • Well child checks
  • Oral health services
  • Immunizations
  • Evaluation and treatment of common health problems
  • Individual and group therapy
  • Family coordination to establish a health care home/primary care provider in the community
  • Insurance enrollment assistance
  • Crisis intervention
  • Health promotion and education

Appointments are available before, during, and after school to minimize missed class time. Interpretation is available for all appointments.
